The local & state government’s reaction to these crimes are a joke. I am asking you to try to make a difference. Come to schools, churches, or any community events and talk to the youth of New Orleans about changing. You have something very rare, a voice that is respected in the worst areas of the city. Explain to them what taking a life means. Express to them that they can have a future outside of these impoverished neighborhoods that surround them. Take responsibility for your community. Make a difference and help to save the same sections of the city that your family called home.
